My White VRS TSI DSG Hatch has been built and is now on its route to the UK.... Wonder what my chances are of getting it before Christmas, I guess 50%.... Hopefully it will have my chosen options (White with Black pack, Canton Sound, Sat Nav).... Any body else had the good news lately? The end of the tunnel is in sight, placed order early August.

Pretty reasonable I would have thought. It depends on when it left the factory & how long it waited for transit to Emden.

Dealer dropped me an email on Friday evening... Just didn't get to read it until today..

I think Santa will be on time for you. What was your build week? Mine is next week (49) and the dealer says I should have mine in December. He did say Christmas was a possibility for me so it's an even more realistic one for you.

Yeah, I think you're going to be in luck. Mines the estate to put the kids toys in and comes without some of your whistles and bells. It'll be an amazing car.  Enjoy it.

Lucky pair. I'll keep playing the within game.  Mind you, I didn't order that long ago, it just seems like it. I only popped in to see what all the fuss was about and to take a break from the traffic.

That's brilliant.  What a welcome post, thanks.  Better not fill the tank on my trusty C5 then. There's hope for us all.

Mine was built November 5th and I collected it Nov 27th.

Chances are looking possible... I'll let you know when I get any updates....

Mine is being built this week.  I think I am going to need alot of luck and a fair wind to get it for Xmas (i'm trying hard to keep my excitement in check!!)

Would you consider waiting just a bit longer until first week in Jan and then you can get it registered as a 2014 model instead of 2013? Granted it won't change the reg plate though? But worth considering.

I was thinking this myself.... I guess it depends on how close to Christmas it comes.... If its ready 20th or before I would take this year, otherwise Jan.

My car is still at the port in Germany waiting for shipment.... My car will definitely be a 2014 registration. it was built w/c 25th November... I guess luck is not on my side, but it will be a 2014 registration anyway.
