Winking Fogs?

In any case they are a poor mans version of proper cornering headlights

and IMO do make the car look like it has a bulb out....

I find them distracting to look at when I'm out and about driving.

Not the brightness but the fact that they look like someone has only one fog

lamp working and of course it isn't foggy, they catch my eye is all.

I've seen the same system on those little A class mercs.

But i also got adaptive turning head-lamps,

So why do my car also have winking fogs?

Though i have been informed winking fogs only come on at low speed?

Whereas adaptive at any speed?

Can't you turn them off?

Check your handbook, alternatively do everyone a favour and stick a hammer through the lense!

Probably won't be too long before you can purchase a 'winking fog lights conversion kit' from Motorwerld for your Vauxhall Cavalier

Typically anything built or designed in Germany has them.

Not sure if Ford and Vauxhall have them now but I'm sure I've seen it on a Hyundai

Is this the same thing as the guys were ****ing over in the fog light thread?

Where s that link pls!

Seen them on FIATs too.

Proper setups turn the light unit don't they? Much better than casting a pool of light 3 foot in front of the car.

Country has actually gone completely ott on light craziness now....everywhere and everything.

We are showing our age mate - quick hide!

Had them on a hired Kia, or was it a Hyundai? Anyway thought they were brilliant oncountry roads

My 1994 Mitsubishi delica (8 seater 4x4 mpv) had an extra white light under the indicator lens that always came on when you signalled.

Very useful for parking at night.
