This is possibly a really daft question, but the very cheap DAB radio that I have in my kitchen scrolls through various things on the screen, including the artist and the track, DJ info etc.

 

Can the newer Fabia that have DAB show the same info on screen? Can this sort of thing be shown on the maxidot?

Don't think Fabias have it. My wife's Golf does, 6 inch colour screen though.

Pressing the info button on non-DAB displays RDS data, which for most stations, gives out which DJ is on and for some, what's playing.

You can order the vrs with dab if you wanted

Hey i have dab in my vrs with the amundsen + nav and when i push the info button i get up all the infomation, Artist, track, dj, so on. This does not display on the maxidot

It can be shown on the Maxidot (if that's the screen on the dash).  Hold the end button on the window wiper stalk go down to Audio and violia.
