Octavia Elegance - couple of spec questions

Featured Replies

Are you saying that the FA or ACC aren't even available as optional extras in the UK?

That would be interesting since they're offering the things pretty much everywhere on the continent. But maybe I misunderstood.

Yes, FA and ACC have been withdrawn due to supply issues.  The Elegance has had FA removed from standard spec and you cannot option FA or ACC.

True, i could have specced it here in Denmark but was told that I then could add atleast +3 months of delivery time on top of the already quoted 5 months. I then told him they weren't building me hand-made Ferraris/Lambos...but a Skoda...he just replied that the demand for these options in particular was well beyond what the VAG group had anticipated..However i could still choose to have them on my car and prolong the wait. I was desperate to get rid of my Alfa so i didn't spec them.

Still doesn't explain why they have done nothing to remedy the situation now well into the first year of production.

Skoda have removed the option problem solved. If I had been told 6 to 7 months for the car I would have bought something else.

When the supply and demand level out FA and ACC will come back as either standard or as options, I suspect FA will be as a money making option along with ACC.

Nope. The original brochure showed that it was only available on cars built from about June or July, and was then removed for anything ordered after October.

Anyone who bought one in the first couple of months didn't get it.

If they put it back on there'll be some very ****ed owners.....
