Hi newbie here from the North West of England. Am in the process of deciding on a new car to replace my everyday Alfa 159 JTD. Im seriously thinking of a new VRS tdI in either Candy White or Race Blue with the Anthracite Gemini alloys and the only extra I would really like is cruise control.

 

Ive noticed the designation also says CR ... what does this stand for ??????

CR stands for Common rail on the diesel. Hope to see you at NW meets in the future.

Welcome to Brisky,  You probably already know that cruise is not std on the vRS ( BIG mistake).

yeah mate know its not std and should be IMHO but I want to add it as I use it all the time when travelling to/from work.

 

I do about 350 miles a week so have discounted the petrol version as it will work out too costly on juice.

Im in the throws of choosing a lease company to get a new Octavia vRS Tdi hatch and have been informed the current wait is 18-20 weeks.

 

I have no problem with waiting so am, at this time, carrying on choosing the best deal I can.

 

Im going for standard spec + cruise control in Candy White with red stitched seats and anthracite Gemini's
