  • One of those JML magic erasers that you can use on pots, pans, walls etc to remove marks! Just rub it on when wet then dry it all off, job done.http://www.ryman.co.uk/5101040016/JML-Doktor-Power-Magic

  • Did you get the pipe on..? I used 1m and ran It down next to the exhaust tunnel.. Fabia's looking great btw, loving the wheels especially..

Well not done anything apart from drive it recently but i have bought the following parts:

Under engine bay tray,

Screws to hold it in place,

Pollen filter,

Caliper return springs,

HID's to go in projector headlights,

EGR delete,

Heated seat wiring loom,

Aircon regas,

Rear discs and pads

K&N Air filter

Full tank of V-Power.

Well out of all of that ive fitted pollen filter, it was a lovely colour:

Cars looking really good and moving along quickly.

It's inspired me to do something, I'm off outside to look at all my parts and find the easiest one to fit

So today ive done a few little jobs, started with easy delock on handle:

876BAFF2-C588-4300-B513-9AE5B79AC920.jpg

Then i pulled all the door strips off:

3A22AEDF-11EC-49BE-A105-F74345B59DF9.jpg

Then i fitted a sub that was taken from my brothers T4 as he didnt want it:

A7DC7E3D-6A4D-481D-8B4A-098CE1E0CD7F.jpg

And i got off ebay a connects2 kit, ive got an iphone 6 so needed the adaptor but its white so i just quickly put some electrical tape round it so it doesnt stand out:

3D7B10CA-070D-48B7-803D-7E193BF19CA9.jpg

Things still to do are take the rear handles down and sand them down:

3EE37F93-46C5-432D-90C9-5933D405EC39.jpg

I also need to do something with the doorlock pins as they are chrome as well, i think im going to look at fitting them to the rear doorcards as well along with door markers like the front

The brushed effect on the door handles looks really good.

Easy to do?

Your car looks great :)

Its easier to do with the chrome handle out completly but they are an absolute nightmare to reassemble, i just got some sand paper and rubbed it in straight lines then some finer wet and dry to matt it down a bit, got to be careful to keep it even and in the same direction and not go through the chrome as its coppery undeneath, i caught one corner but its not noticable.

Thanks for the comment!

Not really done much worth takiig pictures of but the car is now fully polybushed, had new ball joints, new track rod ends and new top mounts. Drives like a new car, ive still got to get tracking done and then i need to get my braided brake lines fitted. I got fed up of leaky door carriers so sealed them up:

Not really done anything in car in over a year apart from driving it about for work. I got a few bits sorted that were starting to bug me, got a new headunit with a USB slot on front so i can use my iphone instead of the connects 2 unit as was getting alot of interference.

Was also geting alot of noise and vibrating doorcards from speakers and road so i found some cheap sound deadening to help with the issue, got about 19/20 sheets:

970D9BE1-B57B-4B3B-AC94-544B4E7FD0A9.jpg

I cooked it for a bit:

D5E18997-1C60-469B-8A87-F6744DD902AE.jpg

Stripped door card off and started fitting:

I did fit more than shown in the pics and did both sides.

Whilst they were aprt i also got round to fitting some new speakers that i had bought as prt of a kit with the little loom adaptors and speaker adaptors.

The speaker adaptors were a bit of a pain really as the other types i had seen had space for you to pop rivit them back on but these were different so i had to rivnut the door carrier and then bolt the adaptors in place. Also coated it in sealent to stop any leakss and keep them in place:

9D5D455E-5F3F-4518-9B2A-6C6F4AE0D72D.jpg

Also made these adaptors for the tweeters from bits that come in the kit:

B1588DA5-6204-42D4-836B-88B8E68803DD.jpg

They arent pretty but they clipped in standard location and hold tweeter firmly so its ok:

Last year my brother was using the car and managed to loose my gel badge from pastyboy so been driving with no basge for ages, now that the grill was starting to get chipped i thought was about time to sort it so my friends kindly wrapped my grill:

Just waiting to go back in work and then i can refit it with a new badge that arrived today.
