Cat vs Citigo

It was coming from the sump plug hole. I think the plug got ripped out as there was a plastic cover which matches the same size hole as the plug

I didn't see the Wild Boar I hit - bloody well felt it though.

If I'd have seen it, I would have automatically swerved to avoid it - and probably ended up in the field taking a couple of bollards with me instead.  Probably more damage as well.

Bad news about the car though :(  Hope for your sake you don't get hit with some sort of Environmental cleanup change.

Ah I see because I looked under mine yesterday and could see the alloy sump and the tiny oil filter at the front.

At least the local cats round here only crap in my garden and kill the birds.

I must have the same loyal domesticated Cats as you they love to leave little turd presents in the kids sandpit turn the bins over for scraps and desimate the local wildlife. Oh and the adorable things Make noises like baies crying at night scrapping outside just perfect pets really there owners who probably live in the next village must really appreciate their company. Save the badgers kill the cats instead virmin have reached epidemic numbers and are ready for a cull.

Get ready for the cat lovers backlash Scribbler

Not sure if they have closed the loophole yet but if you keep a sheep in your back garden which in contrast to cats make excellent pets then you can legally shoot any cat on your property that you can claim is "worrying your sheep". Food for thought! (Goes to check my gun is still in working condition and cost of sheep food) :giggle: .

On a more serious Note if a cat does run out infront of you don't endanger other road users, pedestrians, yourself and your vehicle by trying to avoid it. Cats are nothing if not agile and survivalist and generally will get out of the way if not chalk it up to natural selection. Either way your helping the environment by saving mice and birds which are in decline.

I'm a cat lover and think dogs are more of a pest or is it the owners (or should that be disreputable owners)

I love cats but I wouldn't swerve to avoid one if an emergency stop wouldn't cut it.
