Average mileage to a full half tank

Featured Replies

Mainly all short journeys for me and get about 310 miles to a tank, still love the Vrs and keeping it for at least one more year,

For £50 of v power nitro @ £1.38 per L so around 36 L of fuel I get 320 miles although this tank because of lack of traffic on my commute I'm looking to get 340 miles.

My commute is 50 miles of mainly motorway a day. So the car gets nice and warm.

The VRS is very thickle on fuel economy, even a slight headwind can affect it.

Your 36 litres is 8 gallons, so getting an average 40 mpg out of them is pretty good.

I have never known an engine/car that is so effected by Weather/Temperatures, wind, & rain really kills the Economy.

Cool Fresh Air and 99 ron is wonderful.

Tesco Momentum compared to V Power price difference means you can buy an extra litre and a bit of good stuff  for the same money.

(tight Scots People know that gives an extra 10 miles range for the same money, or 2 or 3 extra 'Floor its' for free money.)

The difference of cruising and staying mostly below 2,500 rpm and maintaining your speed, or taking it up near 3,000 rpm

& above is very noticeable over a longer run.
