Backdrop advice

Featured Replies

Hey there, my girlfriend does photography and recently has been doing family photos for people etc , her current white backdrop creases very easily and it's a very thin material compared to her black one which is a lot thicker and better quality. I want to buy her a new white back drop, a decent quality one to help her out abit :)

Any help would be much appreciated !

Cheers

Dan

TBH the Lastolite pop up white backgrind that you light from inside is excellent for getting pure white backgrounds with minimal fuss.

However, you can't really go wrong with a roll of white paper from Colorworld (I think that's their name). If its dirty or creased, tear it off an recycle it.

I've got two white fabric 'sheets' that I used before getting the Lastolite. One is about 4.5ft wide and lord knows how long (on a roll). The other is massive and folded in a box unused.

If you are near Hereford / Worcester you can come and collect them off me. PM me if interested.

Ha! Ha!

I've just home on to the full site and see you are in Hereford!

Your lucky day!!

PM me and we can arrange a meet and you can see if you want them or not.

You can look at my Lastolite white background as well if you wish.

going to pm you now cheers mate!

with all these telly studios closing down recently, there must be miles of old white Cyc (cyclorama) lying about. not pure white, but there would be several square miles of the stuff if you could add it all up :D

You could also check out bessel.co.uk they do vinyl on aluminium tube, reversible for example black/white, grey/white etc, lots of different sizes too
