Hi Guys,

I'm interested in canvassing the Briskie faithful to see where your LSP allegiance lies.

I have until now been primarily a wax man but this weekend plan to switch to sealing my Furby.

For disambiguation purposes I will be taking wax to mean classic wax with some kind of natural ingredient e.g. Carnauba or other natural waxes.  Hybrids are Hybrids and fully synthetic pastes and spray sealants are sealants.

Feel free to let us know your preferred product why etc, just make sure to add a vote.

Primarily a wax man but have used sealer and topped with wax

I always use sealer on Alloys...repels brake dust better than wax IMO

Gtechniq C2v3. Though have tried CarPro Hydro2 on a couple of cars (two to three months protection), simply spray on after washing the vehicle and activate by pressure washer and dry. C2v3 is my go to sealant and probably will be for some time to come yet.

^^ I'm with the man above on GTechniq. I've yet to find anything as quick and easy as C2v3.

Just haven't got the time nor patience to apply a wax.

Only 9 votes so far?

Does nobody protect their car?

Or ....Isnt interested in Car Cleaning? :S

Only fairly recently got interested, VERY interested, in looking after my car, so I'm still working through my initial supply of 845.

c2v3 and stand in front of it shouting Fe** Orrff

+1 on this :)

Don't shoot us but Autoglym Extra Gloss protection is my choice.

For many a car is a car, clean is clean, only some have a different level of clean and so want it protected. Wax and sealants are a great way to protect and act as a sacrificial layer for dirt and contaminants. Unfortunately many forego protecting them for the winter and wait to give tham a good clean in the mid spring of so by which time the damage has been done and needs a lot more effort to restore.

Horses for courses and each to their own but I protect mine and my friends cars, not only to look after them properly but to ease my work load in the new year.

Sealer then wax for me (opti-seal then 845)

Sealer then Wax.

AG high dev wax only as they don't recommend it is used with a sealer.

Use extra gloss too then collinite 476S on top. Might have a look in new year for something new and more durable.

Zaino z2 for me, but reading reviews on gtechniq products, I'm tempting on trying there products.

Usually Zaino throughout the year but got a sample of Carpro hydro for winter, wash the car rinse it then spray on the hydro and rise off.. taddaaa..

just bought a load of Sonus goodies for the spring/summer.

Im a wax man myself!

You get better beading than sealants which i find sheet better.

Also i like to wax my cars every 3 months whereas with a sealant your either topping up or doing nothing

I think they serve a good purpose but spoil the fun of cleaning your car ever couple of months and spending a day on the outside

Same for me too Matt

Carpro Hydro looks an interesting product!!

CarPro Hydro2 is a great product as a quick fix till you can get the time to do a full detail.

Yes...I would use it as QD if my car was applied with sealer

By the sounds of things then, perhaps not a long term product post detail?
