Them's the breaks!

In my car I managed a true 56mpg door to door, -5 degrees outside so cold oil, to northern england on a 220 mile route from my house to an office we had in the north. Leaving early hours of the morning, traveling past places like sheffield on the M1 at rush hour. That wasn't tailgating lorries at 50 and inch from their bumper either. 

 

My car had cruise when I got it, so no idea on retrofit.

I did have the oil issue, now fixed, no longer a problem. 

 

It's reassuring you are finding it hard to get one of a good spec easily, should make selling mine easier !  

Well bit of an update...

Took delivery of my 1.6 TDi Monte Carlo today

Got home and flicked the switch for DRLs
