Looking at the OPs post the hatch doesn't have this rubber bit, is that the case?

It looks like they simply ran out of the rubber bit and just left it out, shocking really. skoda UK should do something about this. There is absolutely no way the gap should be there. If all the cars at your dealer are the same, that means they are all wrong!

Maybe the Hatch is meant to be like that, that plastic piece is different to the combi anyway and the combi has the bump stops coming through it.
