Fabia VRS Limited Edition 988

Featured Replies

This is my little pride and joy. fantastic car and only for sale as I needed a bigger car. the Fabia has been such a great car that I've bought it's bigger brother.

This car has never wanted for anything.

I have owned the car from doing 23,000 miles. the car now has 58,500 on the clock.

it has only been used at weekends, so hasn't lived a life of short journeys.

It is a limited edition with all the associated extras….. number 988 of 1000 so one of the last few.

it has been religously serviced. at 52,000 (Jan 2013) it had

  •
  • oil
  •
  • air, fuel and cabin filters
  •
  • cambelt and tensioner kit
  •
  • water pump
  •
  • de-ionised  coolant
  •

at 58,500 (Dec 2013) it had

  •
  • oil
  •
  • oil filter
  •
  • drop links (just because I had new ones lying around)
  •
  • Lower wishbone bushes. they are a weak point. Seat leon cupra bushes fitted (suggested upgrade).
  •

  •
  • It is fitted with AP coilovers, they give a great ride without being harsh. standard seemed very soft.
  •
  • rear anti roll bar.
  •
  • grooved brakes
  •
  • front seat leon cupra splitter.
  •
  • matching set of Avon ZZ3 tires (absolutely fantastic wet or dry)
  •

Standard extras include on the Limited edition include;

  •
  • privacy glass in all rear windows
  •
  • 6cd changer
  •
  • cruise control
  •
  • leather interior with limited number stamped in seats
  •
  • and the obvious colour only on the limited models.
  •

the car is never booted when cold and is always left to idle before turning off irrelevant of the journey length. as a result the car has NEVER used a drop of oil.

Don't know what else to say, but this is and has been a truly fantastic little motor. in great condition. which sits and looks fantastic. in the best Skoda colour (in my opinion)

Would be an Ideal 1st car.

Future classic. I'd hang on to it, as its value will rise in a few years time.

Top spec STD car on Autotrader with 50000 miles at £7000 and that has a dealer premium attached.

So think your a tad over priced, even though a nice motor.

But maybe someone wants all those mods without having to spend the money to get them fitted, some of them aren't cheap either, I know you're not going to get your money back on mods but its still a fair price for mileage/parts/service it has had, also the guy is open to offers so it might work to someone's favour

If i could love to hate my octy a lil more lol

I do toy with selling for a change and furbs are alot more wallet friendly running lol

But then id have to start again hehe

MPG is only an issue if you use it though... ;)

:D this is very true lol

But tax is expensive in or out the garage :(

Still a lovely looking car nevertheless... and yes I'm tempted... but getting mk1 Octy VRS and need to sell Ibiza Sport first.... though would love to have the three just so I can put my 312mm from Seat onto Fabia... oh well.

Ohh I'm very lucky. We have both an SE and a mk 1 octy VRS. This example looks stunning in the pics.

  • 2 weeks later...

Everytime i see it

Hiw u havent sold it, it was almost mine when i was close to introducing the octy to the center res thid morning lol
