Reflection From internal chrome into Rear view door mirrors

Featured Replies

I love my car and as a temporary measure, I put mini post-its on the glaring chrome and they lasted 3/4 weeks and left no marks when they fell/blew off. It is a pity that Skoda didn't think this (and the less than great wing mirrors) and it has only just started to become an issue again so perhaps summer is on its way Has the electrical tape been a success?

  • I've solved the reflection problems in mine. I drive with my eyes shut. Simple but effective :-D

  • Can't be such a bad motor if reflections are being posted as faults.

  • You could always remove the doors and put them in the same bin as the badges and the rear wiper. Sent from my Note 3 using Tapatalk

I am indeed still enjoying the car, more so with the chrome vent surrounds covered with slivers of black PVC insulating tap. Lasting well enough, needing a push back down occasionally after it curls up in the heat. Going in for service next month so might find out whether there is a black surround instead, as suggested earlier.

Have noticed this in various makes over the years but in my experience

you soon learn to ignore it.its like the elements in heated windscreens some people see them and others have no problems..if you are allways thinking about these

r3flections you will allways see them.
