Well a visit to Dealer in Edinburgh today and got build date for our Superb week 2, 2014 its due to start. Will keep the wife happy as collection of bits and bobs is trying to overtake christmas inside the house .

 

 

Hi, I have the same build date, any luck with knowing delivery date?

I have been led to believe 3 weeks from date of build.

Skoda UK have said I can phone anytime for an update so may do that next week

There used to be a system for tracking orders available to customers.

Take a look through some of the older topics here it may still exist.

I did but that was a given dealership who offered that to their customers. Skoda uk or the dealer can help, spoke to Skoda today my car is in the body ship being built by robots. Depending on weather should be with me in a few weeks.

Hi Raptor, I was told same to expect car end of Jan first week of Feb so keeping fingers crossed. Have winter tyres window deflectors mudflaps and other bits ready to fit.

ha they may be on same boat honey monster.i was told week 2.dealer rang this morning saying built and on the train to embdon, then to tynemouth.should have her in a fortnight.just in time for the white stuff   !!

You lucky fellow, just prey for fine weather for the crossing

what colour honey munster? im candy white,but thinking i should have gone silver.....to late now

Went Amethyst as saw one in that colour at dealers, was our second choice after shark blue which was no longer available.

Getting envious now, dealer told on Monday car is built will update me next week. Black with ivory leather...... Grandson now banned

No more news yet, resisting urge to phone. Know they are also fitting towbar, so may delay mine by a couple more days. I know reg as it is personal plate, will look like an early release of the 14 plates as it starts J14.

i to having pplate raptor,the dealer said the plates could take up to a fortnight (worst case) with dvla.im in no rush at mo, as got a couple of tip runs ect this weekend.as long as that white stuff keeps away im happy.....

Just off the phone from Dealer . Collect ours Friday 31st with towbar all fitted. Will come with age related plate then have to swap it to our personal plate but not bothered as at least will have the car .

I do have the paperwork from Dvla. Dealer will sort out the plates I simply need to give him the document. You are right in thinking that a new application for a p plate can take weeks to process bought mine in January and the docs arrived with a week.

Ridiculous but I feel like a kid with a new toy. Not my first new car so must be the ageing process :0(

Car now with dealer sorting out tomorrow. Looking to pick up Feb 1st depending on DVLA how long did the personal plate process take.

I have arranges insurance for Feb Ist seemed sensible as I apparently need to send certificate of insurance with plate application to assign to new vehicle.

Picking it up Thursday 30th. Had sorted my insurance changeover for Saturdsy thinking it would take that long sorting out Pplate but dealer got things sorted and with free 7 day Skoda insurance cover now good to go :0)

Excellent result get yours day before me. I am just swapping to Pplate after i get the car. Roll on Friday for me, weather forecast not good but will be in the car so happy .

Very jealous people, enjoy the new cars!!!

Raptor, please let me know what you think of the colour combination in the flesh, that is exactly what I am looking at only in L&K (with the brown dash and steering wheel)... Some have said the black metallic paint is not up to much.....

Regarding black I have that at the moment and I think it shows off the superb making it look elegant, personal choice I know.

Other threads on this site have complained about how difficult it is to keep clan. Not my experience, I have used colonite wax it helps to keep it looking good. If you to go cars for sale, page three, you will see a heading "sold" near the top of the listings, you can view my current car .

Of course the new paint may not be up to the same standard as the 2007 but I find that hard to believe as modern paints tend to superior.

Well i have it and as requested have a couple of photos on for mapp1066. In answer to your question regarding the  brown, I think it goes very well with the beige leather but you might like to know that my wife never lets me choose colour combinations :0)
