Only the one photo so far as after 60 mile drive home, the light and weather have gone so will do some more when better weather. First impressions quiet and comfortable and much reading of manual required  :whew:

Nice colour quite fancied that myself but could not get to see one locally. Yes a lot to read. Off to buy a 32 gig ad card so i can upload music files to the hard drive. Done a whole 12 miles........ at this rate will months to run in :0)

I recognise that dealer - where I bought mine too, they had it jammed into the kerb with the boot in the bushes as well.

Nice colour don't think I've ever seen one in the flesh.

Raptor, that looks outstanding!!!  Love the colour combination in the flesh, lucky man!!!  That has confirmed the L&K black ivory for me.... thank you!!

If you get any more time, some more pictures or the inside back would be amazing!!

Is the inside roof lining black or ivory?

Nice one honey monster you are certainly going to town on it. What boot mats have you used?

A couple of more pics for mapp1066.

As you can see the roof lining is the same colour as the seats.

Raptor i just got one of these carpets cheap on ebay same as in this pic as too dark to take a pic now, was only a couple of quid brand new. As i don't have rail system or anything in boot it fits perfect.

Well had the car just over a week and now done 1100 miles in it and so far very impressed. A return journey of 800 motorway miles to visit family did that running in mlarkey quite nicely. Now can start having a play.

Seats excellent comfort and heater is excellent, love the height adjustable lumbar support can at last get it in right position.

Headlamps brilliant, no eye strain at all with night driving as i do the long journeys overnight.

Fuel Economy i am more than happy coming from a vehicle which only averaged 26 mpg so seeing over 40 is brilliant. On long run down averaging 60mph returned 48mpg pottering round town mid 30s and run back up averaging 70mph it gave 45mpg.

So to summarise a very happy Superb owner here

Just over a week and now at 500 miles still taking easy, looking forward to opening up the throttle and see how she drives.

A couple of irritations: near side mirror dip in reverse a bit hit and miss, park assist seems to have stopped working hope these are nearly teething problems. Will leave it a little longer before taking it in.

Very happy with the car, comfortable, great sound system.

Averaging 40 ish around town, much better that than 25 I was getting with V6 .

£130 for a new tyre, blow out at 60mph from pot hole in road, car kept a straight line and handled very well indeed.

500 miles and parking assist failed??? Sounds not so good. Have you brought it back to the dealers for a fix?

Sorry to hear about your troubles. What is the failure of the park assist? It is very particular about finding the correct spot, doesn't work above certain speeds, etc...

Also about the mirror dip, again it has it's quirks. The mirror switch needs to be in the passenger side position for this to work (L for a RHD car and R in a LHD car)

Also, have you saved the setting in the memory seat? Put it in reverse so the mirror dips down (L position), then manually adjust it to the required dipped position, then set it to your seat memory position - usually memory number 1 (press SET then the corresponding numbered button until you hear a 'bong').

Totally agree with Too Tall on the mirror. Need to follow the manual carefully and keep the mirror switch in the correct position.

Thanks for your replies. I feel this car is bit like computer "failures"mostly user errors,

Park assist worked today when I remembered that I need to use the indicator for a "perpendicular" parking space.

Regarding the reversing mirror it workers just like my last one so I am familiar with requirements . Just seems a ill let hit and miss at the moment, going to stay with it for while to see if it settles.

Lovely car to drive, very pleased with it. The heated windscreen was a Boone this week, defrosted very quickly.

Good to hear that Raptor. Typical no ice, no snow up here on east coast border region, and i want both so i can go play . Have now got keys set up to both mine and wifes seating positions, love not having to adjust seat and mirrors back after her short legs have been in :). Next job do the wiring for blackvue camera and fit powersaver for battery as cigar socket is pernamently live.

Raptor's youtube vid:  Pure Porn.  I am overcome with wonder, amazing, brilliant.

reckon you might have your car tomorrow - only takes 35 minutes to make... ;-)

Just doing the wiring for my dash camera and had the fuse panel cover off on drivers side  and noticed no fuse identification label there. Should there be one, or is it just the guide in owners manual which you have to transpose as that is showing for lhd cars.

Mine arrived within 4wks (fully spec'd)

What spec did you go for and what options did you choose?

Morning all is anyone finding the stop start a little "aggressive" when it kicks in? I have found that if I wait a for a few seconds before starting off, it gives the gears time to engage and it will pull away smoothly, also if I use manual gear selection, then when she pulls away move back to auto it is a very smooth 'take off. ' sorry honey monster could not resist that one :0)

Raptor - I hated stop-start even before car was delivered :D So the first thing after starting the car is disabling it.

Of course I've tried how it works - and I was still hating it ;)

The only bit i dont like about stop start is having to sit with foot on brake or move into park. As hate sitting in a queue behind cars with there brake lights dazzling you at dusk. Just wish pulling handbrake up and removing foot from brake would be enough at a junction.
