Hi, I have not got around to waxing my Superb as yet (too cold this time of year) but I am wondering, if I am able to wax the silver door details (lower down the door, not around the windows) or to skip them? What material are these silver bits? Metal/Chrome/Plastic?

Yes you can, they are just chromed plastic.

 

don't get wax on textured plastics though as it is hard to get off and will cloud.

 

I assume by wax you mean actual wax like carnauba and not something synthetic.

Wax is wax ....whether its Carnauba or Synthetic

...and the same rules on application still apply to each

Don't get any on textured plastic but all other plastics are fine to be waxed

It is carnauba wax, and I'll try in the spring.
