And dont worry i have a awesome brisky alot more capable than me helping ( or doing - driven by a GBK goodness bribe + he is awesome )

Do the fronts first :)

Then the backs are simple

My record is 3 1/2hours on my drive! Thats going like a madman lol

The fronts are always a nightmare like Jase said tackle them then the rears will be a breeze

What are you up to now Llyod, there's always something isn't there lol ????????

Cheers guys, marks going to pop them on to sabe my pennies, which help lots :)

As my kw's will cover a good chunk of fk's rather than just the fitting lol

It was just the rear seating he was concerned with as his wete tight as fook ( and needed a press to locate them )

Then its front arch rolls and down a wee bit more ;)

Is that swapping oem suspension to coilovers ?

Or coilovers to coilovers ?

Young Adam said swapping coilies to coilies is alot easier

Hub splitter for the fronts is essential :)

Car was getting traded in so it was kw coilovers to standard suspension!

An after pic for you with the kw coilover discarded in the foreground

Check the ride height out.

Yes coils to coils are easier as they dont need as much / if any compressing to get them in and out, standards are a bit more of a pain

Least ur jack didnt try kill u :D

Mine desided it wanted to drop

I now need a new one, and it damaged the sill grrr

Better the sill than me tho

which jack were you using? never trust the skoda supplied one.

I don't like cheap trolley jacks, they can fail or bend too.

check out the arcan ones

Jesus that looks higher than my old audi allroad on off-road setting. Did it settle afterwards?

Oh yeah thats just the initial lower from the jack! Took a pic as i thought it was comical!

Even after it settled to stock height it suprised me as i must have had it slammed :o as it still looked like a 4x4

So wentbwith axle stands randomly placed as id sooner mush bits of metel than my body and head

Its put me off playing under it tho tbh so thsnk god i got it level this time

Thats a cool jack, its stating the height it is now

Kw's stay :)

Standard jack gave out on me before aswell luckily i had a second little jack under the rear axle at the time as had a wheel off!!!

At that point i decided to get my old jack back off my mate :)

Its this one http://www.sealey.co.uk/PLPageBuilder.asp?gotonode=ViewProduct&method=mViewProduct&productid=10255&productdescription=&productcode=&category=1&catgroup=354&catmicrogroup=1233&analysiscode=&requiredresults=16

Forgot how awesome it was until i got it back! Heavy as fook but is so easy to use! Still used to have to drive my old corsa onto blocks of wood to get it under though!!

Easy to do

So when you lowering it lloyd lol

just kidding dude, she's looking well :)

Its all ****ed

My toe in is mad

Dunno how to sort

Thinking rip off camber n rims

Or buy a normal sensible car

Havent got the money to chuck at it

You can adjust the toe and camber with the camber shims

  • Author

No money left to try sort it

Its a -1 and - 0.5 on there

They just said would munch tyres

do your shims look like thisspc71530.jpg

or like this

ezrearshims02.jpg

because the latter type you spin the two surfaces and line up the numbered markers to the amount of camber/toe you want and then break out the plastic and install :)
