Waterspray - pros & cons

Featured Replies

Heard waterspray mentioned a few times, what are the pros & cons from those who have tried or those who know.

Is it worth the cost & what BHP Increase will it give as a percentage

are you taing about water sprays for the intercooler or Aquamist system?

Joel

You want water spray for your FMIC? Why? Or are you talking water injection? I'd say neither are worth it for you and the use you put your car to.

I meant water injection

JBS have mappable water injection on their Octy and I also saw them fitting a similar setup to a TT a few weeks ago. Prehaps worth asking the question in the JBS section for their take on it.

pretty sure you can get a wet NOS kit that does the same thing more or less... obviously refilling the system is going to be cheaper with the water ;)

A wet NOS kit adds N20 and fuel to the inlet and does quite a bit more than what an aquamist does.

Aquamist...Is that a new perfume.

the RR graphs I have seen for water sprays do bugger all for power and in some power goes down. I see it as a waste of money which could be best spent somewhere else
