right where are you coming from and any suggestions on a suitable meeting point?

i am thinking derby or stoke before we join the m6 as seems to be a suitable meeting of all roads?

any suggestions gratefully recieved

Live in Hall Green, south Birmingham.

I'll be heading up on the M6, getting on at junction 6 if I go through centre of Brum. I can go via M42 from junction 4 until it meets the M6.

I normally go via M54/A5 & A483 when heading up towards Chester, as its a nicer route than heading up the M6. The route is a little bit more interesting, but it may be quicker to head up the motorway.

Might go up on the Friday too if I can get the day off!

I'm aiming for a half day - but my colleagues holiday plans could scupper that idea! I'd still be passing Brum at 7pm, even if I couldn't get a half day on the 19th... Then, M6 M62 all the way! :drive1:

I'm coming from Hertfordshire, so will be up for meeting anywhere really. Will be coming up on saturday though.

Hmmm - I definitely will need a good night's kip after driving 4 or 5 hours, in order to be fresh for the drive through Wales. So, Friday afternoon/evening travel it is for me. If I'm late, someone order me a medium rare sirloin from whichever eating establishment we're gathering at on that night.
