I hope this thread is not in the wrong place. If it is, please move it to where it belongs.

So it goes like this: I really like the new badge logo and I would like to fit it in my Octavia Tour Sport. I found this code for it 5j0853621A but I was told it will not fit as it is a little bigger than it's supposed to be.

Did any of you try to fit it? Does it work? Do you know where I can buy it so it's not that expensive?

Thank you! Apparently I was too lazy to search for dig for those threads. Now I just need to check with the local dealer for a fast delivery but I'm pretty sure i'll end up buying them on ebay as they will but a really high price.

How much we looking at from a Romanian dealer?

Its about £15+ at dealers here ...each.

I fitted the new badge to my 02 vRS about 6 months ago.
It is SLIGHTLY bigger than the origional and doesnt sit in the recess on the grill. The new badge sits slightly over it but i found as long as you give it a good dollop of either glue or silcon seal aswell as melting the plastic pins on the underside of the grill, it looks great and hasnt budged at all.

80mm badge fits perfect

I found a part number somewhere on this forum but cant remember where? I replaced my badges with ones from the dealer and perfect fit on my 04 vrs.
