I ordered mine first week of December

Ouch! Mine has a provisional B/W 6 but if it got delayed by 11 weeks I would cancel, stuff the practicality and order a M135i instead. Monthly PCP is not much different between the two because of the BM's stronger residuals.

Went from build week 2 to 12

I think your dealer has misled you from the off! BW5 would have seen your vRS delivered before the end of Feb meaning a total time of less than 12 weeks. The majority of people have waited at least this from the order books opening in July.

I order on xmas eve and was told 18 weeks minimum and that looks more likely to be 24 weeks now having been allocated build week 21

2 to 17 not happy

It's poor that it's jumped so far but....

I think I lot of cars got allocated provision weeks prior to the factory shut down and they're now allocating more realistic ones.

My replacement vRS was ordered at the need of September and had a bw6. Now moved to build week 5 but it's still a fair old wait from September.

Time will fly by!

Well You guys may not know this (I'd be amazed if You did) but...

From January to March there is a last possibility to register a company car as a "lorry" (unable to translate, but yeah it means passenger car used as lorry...) if only it has a complying homologation.

Factory is delaying all the orders they can to produce as many of these "lorry" Occty's as possible. If You don't have it by end of march - You pay VAT. Which is 23% here.

Yep, mines been delayed too

Ordered mine 18th November, was told March delivery.

Originally BW1 then slipped to BW4 and the latest is BW17 so looking at getting it end of May/beginning of June.

Have been given a Skoda bulletin that says dealers should quote 18-20 weeks lead time for Octavia vRS but mine's looking more like 28 weeks. Not best pleased although they reckon the date may come forward as the weeks go by, here's hoping.

There's no rhyme nor reason to it. I ordered 17 Nov just been told I can pick up on Weds next week, having originally been told March.

19 to 7 to 14. will look forward to the next update

13 to 6 but not confirmed yet for a Race blue VRS TSI estate. Not holding my breath.

Just got an email from my dealer... BW13. Ordered 26th November... thats about 21 weeks from order to delivery. 

Hope to get a earlier BW

And the latest news is mine has gone from BW1 to BW4 then BW17 and now is BW21 so that will be about 32 weeks from order to collection!!!

Not quite the 18-20 weeks quoted on the Skoda Week 2 Supply Update.

.... paid deposit 23rd December to catch the 0% and free servicing deal. I havnt asked my dealer or Skoda UK  for a build week yet dont want to get upset lol

I'm getting the feeling that Skoda really don't know what they are doing.

 

For my 6 Oct order (VRS Estate), my dealer has recently told me it might be made firstly in mid-March and now end-March. I asked SUK and they said 24 March (everyone else gets build weeks, I just get vague dates!). When asked about a courtesy car to see me through the extra 2 months delay beyond the originally quoted "about 12-16 weeks", the lady told me that there's lots of misinformation going around and lead times that dealers quote are from when the factory accepts the order not from when you place it (contrary to my experience of buying three new cars from Renault and VW in the past...).

 

The only saving grace is that I have an agreed trade-in price on my old thing and the mileage is currently increasing at 2000 miles per month :-)

2 to 20 its a joke. And I am a Fleet customer. So I will wait 38 weeks ! according to dealer from order placement to delivery.

The agreed PX price is the only saving grace, mine will be 6 payments between order and delivery on my current car, so thats quite a large chunk in payments made so it will make my finance on my new car considerably cheaper than the original finance quote when I ordered, plus my healthy discount on the car means its not a bad deal, and each month that goes by means its getting cheaper, they also retagged my current car from Jan 1st for too, so overall, yes its a pain in the arse all this waiting etc, but it has its up sides too!

in the past when delivery delays increased, Skoda either honoured p/ex prices or took the cars in p/ex early and provided a loan car until yours was delivered and also provided a voucher to spend on accessories or servicing.

Pretty similar spec to mine, ordered Dec 30th and both dealer and SUK have given me.the same build date, WC 21st May. (wk21).
