I see that both of them are local reg as well. From my experience, people in your part of the world seem to take good care of their cars. I have relatives in Seahouses, and when visiting I have seen plenty of J, K and L reg cars still in good nick, despite the salty air.

Where I used to live, a guy down the road had a Galant, and it always looked immaculate, despite hime never seeming to spend much time on it.

Ahh Seahouses...Ive spent much cash in the amusements there during my younger days! Shame the Viking is shut now tho! The prefix/suffix (depending on age of car) *SH used to denote 'Berwickshire' whilst *KS denoted 'Roxburghshire' (ie Kelso and surrounds). In practice tho everything went through the Edinburgh VLO so it was pot luck whether your car got a KS or SH plate! (unless of course you bought a Vauxhall from Blackburn and Price , who sometimes used the Newcastle VLO , hence a few *BB and *RG numbers....you learn something new on here every day , eh?..lol!)
