The day has come....

20 Weeks to the day when I ordered it...

at the end of the summer..

At least its dry and sunny but a bit crisp.. today

I don't want to pick it up in the rain..!!

I traded in my Astra Twintop after having for almost 7 years which also was a brand new car, but this one arrived in under 7 days..

For a vRS hatch Tdi in Race blue with a black grille only , sunset glass, sunroof, spare wheel...

Would alike few more extras but didn't have the money for them..

All I need to do now is sort out Gap Insurance for 3 or 4 years..

The Dealer I used in Tunbridge  Wells I highly recommend.. 

 

I'd be shaking with anticipation! Hope it all goes well.

Enjoy her Baz but FMS, Tunbridge Wells is a bit of a trek, couldn't you get anybody local to price match ? Although 20 weeks for a vRS is starting to look like a good waiting period.

My local skoda dealer is 10 mins away but dont like them...

its only 18 miles from me ( 45 mins ) straight down the A264

Oh yeah, I'm with you there Baz, my local dealers, Garland Motors in Aldershot are just order takers, no give just take. I ended up buying from City Skoda in Basingstoke, the saleman didn't lie to me and we finally got to a £1,730 discount on an Elegance.

Sorry, being hants/surrey borders I tend to forget there's two sides to Surrey.

I've just been past about 10 mins ago but didn't see it outside. Enjoy and perhaps I'll see you around town later on

Had a good drive home.. car was inside so i couldn't see it when I arrived there at 2pm

took it easy on way back .. only had 100 miles of fuel in it..bit poor..!! ...  where we live we have a half mile straight driveway to our house ..so tried out the sports mode..sounded great...

Tuned radio in and Mobile phone all working

Havn't had the black grille fitted yet Skoda wanted £160 this morning to fit it.... I'll get it done sometime or i will sell it..

 

I put some photo on when I can work out how to do it..!!!!!  :wonder:

Congrats on the new car, its always exciting getting into a new motor and driving it home, your lucky they gave you so much fuel normally they just put enough to limp you to the nearest station
