Yo All

Can anyone let me know what I should expect to pay to replace my clutch. Think its on the way out with the 'bite' being toward the bottom

cheers

Got a helix organic clutch for my car last year cost just under £400 for the clutch kit and then labour on top

I would expect £280-300 fitted for the OEM spec one, fitted at an independant/local specialist.

What is a helix organic clutch, is it better tham OEM ??

Yes, it has an uprated friction surface, so it can handle higher torque levels.

I ran one in my 220bhp Fabia - good option for higher power & torque, while still having a decent pedal feel. Problem tends to be with performance clutches is that they can be a pain to use every day - the paddle clutch types particularly.

The clutch i have is great, just a few drives to bed it in. A bit heavier than the OEM clutch but if your not going to put extra power through the car i wouldn't bother.

Agreed. I went for an OEM replacement on mine this time, and it's been fine handling quite a bit more power & torque.
