Wow. Should have added that to the 2014 picture thread, Your car with an armed response officer in the shot!

 

Not sure I'd be videoing it, think I'd be running down the road in the opposite direction!

Why do people always feel the need to record such 'events'?

If that had been Mark Duggan, it might have been useful if a member of the public had.

But generally: this was an exceptional event, and something totally exraordinary could have suddenly happened.  People would have been grateful to be able to see a recording if it had.  Do you never watch the news or look at photographs in newspapers?

It's not like al the Dumbos who pay good money to go to a concert or a sporting event and can't actually watch it or enjoy it properly because they are busy videoing it, usually annoying everyone else by waving their 'phones (or even tablets) around in the air.  That is daft.
