Hi Guys, I've had the Monte 1.2 for just over 2 years now and occasionally i have issues with the central locking. When i get out of the car and press the 'lock' switch on the fob it doesn’t work. I have to manually lock the car with the key and the red 'locking light' is permanently illuminated inside the car door. Then when opening again the alarm goes off. It's been into Simpsons Colne a few times but they can’t replicate the issue. Any ideas please? After about 10 mins it resets itself back to normal! Cheers Nigel

get the remote tested to see if it's sending an RF signal when the lock button is pressed. A scan with VCDS may bring something up as well. I've got a few jobs to arrange around Lancashire so could take a look at it if needed
