Seat swap

Featured Replies

Been looking at replacing the seats in my octy mk1 2004. Fed up of cleaning the centres for them to look the same in a few weeks. My query is would seat leon 05 plate seats be a straight swap, as the ones I'm looking at are electric adjustable front seats just wondering would these need anything other than a +ve and -ve feed to each seat.

Cheers Chris.

I`ve fitted a set of Leon leather electric seats in my vrs, straight swop, so much more supportive(especially the side bolsters) Not to mention easier to clean!

Easy to wire up, +/- is all you`ll need, but add a 5amp fuse holder for each seat to be sure.

Do you know if they bolt straight into non VRs Octavias?

If the Leon is a MkI it will bolt straight in. If MkII they will not fit.

Good to know.

Yeah straight swap!

I so like the leon seats

Thanks for the replies guys will have to see if I can get these at weekend.

Leon leathers are not so nice imo (most look saggy)

Have a look for seat toledo half leather / alcantara!

Same fitment but much nicer ;)

Good to know they're a swap over, I do like the vrs seats but I know they're going to be really ****ful to keep clean.
