Can we get more Yetis to attend than last year?

So who's coming?

It went straight on the calendar and was approved by SWMBO so I'll be there. Much closer for me this time which is handy.

 

No hills to play on this time, so hopefully we'll have a bit more time to socialise with the others

 

Anybody else heading down from the North? I was wondering about detouring onto the A18 / A159 rather than sticking on the M180 - should be a nice run early in the morning.

 

Edit: Having looked at the route a little more I think I'll take the A18 to the Trent, then down the East side of the river to Susworth, then through Laughton Forest to Laughton, and on to Blyton. Some very different roads to round here and much more interesting than endless motorway.

Yes you're allowed but we'd like you to pump your tyres up, fashion bug-eyes from pie-foil dishes and a raised-roof with egg-boxes or such-like material for your Octavia. Got to blend in as best  you can......

We were there last year in my wifes MX5,around 250 on the track,but we missed the world record.

Might be able to make this for the first time, particularly as it's fairly local and as yet I've not planned a summer break.

 

Any chance a Octy III can hang out with the Yeti's :wonder:

Think Colin had last years meet next to the Land Rover Factory just in case but thankfully one wasn't needed

Hopefully I will be able to make it this year.

I've put it in the diary.  The last meet was a great day out. And to finally meet TP! Gosh...  It will be a big day! Now Graham just needs to come with his tin snail and all will be well. I wonder if we can camp in the middle of the racetrack? 

Shame, I might have had a Yeti by then as well!

 

But I'll be off on honeymoon then, so it'll have to be 2015 for me now

Not sure on this one, it's SWMBO'S birthday that weekend. Something else might be planned plus it's a long way to go from here,

But, we've never been over that side of the country before so it would be an adventure for us

 We enjoyed last year's meet, playing around on the slopes & being posers, so we will have to see. I'll put it on the calendar for now.

Who's bringing the Yeti with the onboard helicopter? It'll be needed for any spelling photo shots as it's all rather flat at the airfield!

 

Then again maybe Richard could be persuaded to try out the CityGoGo's jumping skills with a suitable placed ramp and a passenger armed with a camera
