Bolero stereo phone connection

Featured Replies

Just bought a 2013 Octavia with the Bolero stereo. It says in the stereo manual you can connect a mobile via bluetooth for handfree operation but there is no "phone option" in the setup menu. In the car manual it give instructions that you have to turn the ignition on and connect the phone but again no "phone" option in the setup menu. I suspect bluetooth handsfree is an added option on the car and not standard with the Bolero but can someone confirm this as doesn't mention this in the stereo manual. A bit disappointed that this is not standard on the Elegence trim. Also, can this be fitted retrospectively? Thanks.

is this a mk3 2013 car as it should have it on?

As far as I am aware Bluetooth is standard across the range.

Is it not in the setup menu?

There's a big button with "Phone" written on it. The setup options are available once you've pressed that.

It's cool, I usually point out when people reply without reading the OP anyway, so I can't complain if I read your post and thought it was aimed at me, as I was annoyed myself when I re-read it lol

Ah! Apologies, I'm posting in the Mk3 section where my car is 2013 MK2, newbie mistake. Does anyone know if is costly to get the bluetooth module retro fitted?
