I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm struggling to find anywhere else to put it.

I just got hold of a Felicia 98 from my father in law, it's sort of running....... It was fine until yesterday when he hit a large bump and the radio went off he thought this was strange so he tried the lights and they wasnt working then the battery light came on and the airbag light was on, when he got to mine he turned it off and came in for a brew we then went out to look at it and it started but only just... really struggling like the battery is dead, the lights work (dimly though) the radio works(on its own) now normally I would say this was a charging issue but with it starting with a bump I can't see it being the alternator.......I can find no obviously loose connections and I'm pretty stumped, I don't want to start forking out for new alternators and batteries if thats not the problem so I was hoping to get some advice on what to try first.

Hopefull for any help Dave

my advice is to try new battery.

how many volts has on each of 6 elements?

nominal value is 2.1 V

a bad battery can kill voltage regulator, alternator, then who knows what.
