Decently priced 64Gb SDXC Card...

Featured Replies

Actually that's the slow version, the best version is £88.

You could always go to the next level and that's a mere £356, for a tiny 256Gb or if you want I can supply you a 1Tb USB stick for a mere £906.

128GB is fine for me, I can fit all my MP3:s there and have still decent amount of space left.

Try www.7dayshop.com. Good prices and excellent service. I've bought a few SD cards for my Nikon.

I bought a couple from there and had 1 failure, but admittedly they were very good about replacing the card for free, luckily it didn't have anything on it at the time and I was able to swap it out and put a spare in.

I've spent ...a little more... on 2 x 128GB cards for my columbus.

Spending almost 5 hours a day in my car, i do start to get a little bored of my music and the radio, so i like to listen to tv progammes. stuff that i've seen a thousand times before so have no need to see the screen. BBC classics like one foot in the grave and porridge and red dwarf, plus family guy and stuff like that. it amazing how the motorway miles fly by.

Anyway, I have 1 and a half 128gb cards with tv programmes on, and half a card with my music. It'll be a long long time until I get bored in my car.

Also like that if i pull over for a break, i can watch my programmes too

Rob, get a life before you lose the one you've got seriously, 5 hours a day in a car, if you don't redress your work/life balance things ain't gonna last too long, things like marriage, family & breathing ect.

No, I ain't joking.

Er I seriously hope you actually know Rob!

I'm assuming you don't and that you assume it's 5 hours travelling time on top of normal working hours? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't and as I don't know Rob I don't have a clue what he does in the car for 5 hours a day - Except listen to tv programs! I think the suggestion he'd lose everything in his life is a tad ott.

I spend less than 40 minutes in my car everyday I'm working but can go days without actually seeing my wee one and only see my wife for an hour or so some days before heading to the land of nod. We all have our own way of living, what works for one won't work for another, it's a bit like buy cars and modding them too :-P

Modding cars? Now there's a contentious issue....oooh Mike mentioned the 'mod' word.

No I don't know Rob or you but, 8 years of 60K miles p.a. & 40 hours of out going calls both company cars & mobiles taught me "Life's a Jouney not, a destination" but, I agree we all have our own ways, I just hope you guys find and enjoy your own journeys with the ones you love and not find yourselves at your destinations on your own.

Bit OTT maybe however, the eight guys whom I went to college with show some way OTT of the national averages for premature death & divorce.  As for modding cars hell, they're cheap compared to familys and lives but, the one thing we do agree on, we all have our own ways.

Don't take it personally, its just what I've seen, I wasn't even bright enough to figure it out myself, I was shown by others.

I must admit i am out of the house a lot. Most trips are probably more like 4 hours...but still. Its all paid for, so my plan is earn as much as i can now (i'm 26) while there is big money to be earned, get mortgage paid off etc and hopefully when family comes a long i can work a little less. I know we probably all had this plan, and life probably wont turn out like we hope, but as i say, while theres money to be earned...

I appreciate your concern though, and i do enjoy Family Guy. Not usually allowed to watch it at home either :-P

I used to do upto 4 hours a day in the car when I worked down in Portsmouth & commuted from near Guildford each day, a mix of A25, A248, A3100, A3, A27, M275 or A3020 and I didn't have the benefits of the Hindhead tunnel either.

I'd still be doing it today if it were for family issues which meant I had to do an exchange, something I seriously regret doing, but my bank balance is much better being based in Guildford, even though I hate the work & the people in the area.
