Parking is such sweet sorrow

Featured Replies

It started with the recent  theft of a wheel trim and went downhill from there, alas my lovely Pacific has blown a gasket so i have part xed her for a Clio.

I loved my Filly and it will be leaving my possession with a heavy heart on Saturday morning.

Thank you to all the people on this forum who have contributed with comments and tips, youve all been very kind.

Keep it up and if I had the space, time and money I wouldnt be leaving you all.

I will pop in from time to time and I will never say never.

Thanks for the memories

A FAILED SICKO

Well I got that Clio and it collapsed the drive shaft came off and it did a black wee on the road, so once the pennys are back in place I shall be back.

My old faithful was a Felicia Pacific with a masacistic streak that i abused but never let me down, so does anyone have any recommendations up to £1500 please. sdi maybe??

Let this be a lesson to you all leave your Skoda behind at your peril.

Good grief! That didn't last long. Still, you have to try these things.

Carma, you live and learn

Think the SDI is a good idea though based on the mileage I've had out of my old Felicia diesel. You'd hope it would be at least as sturdy too.

aaaahhhh... French cars...

the car price seduction... the nightmare of parts price... all made in Turkey or Romania.

I don't know how to say POS cars in French

but why bother with other cars than Skoda?

as a last resort, even older Japanese cars are better than French.

a good Honda Civic VI for instance.

For £1500 you could have the best Felicia going. I sold my old one then the wife didn't like the replacement so we bought another. this time we hung out for a good one. Got this one with 38,000 miles, top of the range SLXi. Paid £1000 for it which about £400 more than most of them but decided it was worth it because of the condition. If you want a cheap, simple, sturdy, reliable car you don't need to go anywhere else.

Couldn't agree with dohnjoe more. Never buy a French car!

Buy a good condition Felicia for £500. Job done.
