Car Vids & Photos...

Featured Replies

Don't know if this has been thought of before, but I wonder if we could either have a section, or a sticky somewhere listing all the links to the car vids that people have stuck on the site. As I work away a lot it means I have to go through the masses of threads that have appeared since I was last on the site. However one of the things I really enjoy is seeing the vids of the regional meets and any pics etc that have been taken. But as they seem to be placed everywhere, and attached halfway through threads etc I offten miss them. So could we have somewhere that they could all be listed/shortcut to so that I will no longer miss them. Thought Pauls Anglsey footage was superb, or rather octavia (groan).

Just a thought.

Seconded - there's a quantity (unknown to me) of Briskoda webspace, and we know gallery works, so someone (steps forward tentatively) could be responsible for archiving/cataloguing/linking such material if such was thought to be a good idea .... ?

There may be space , but hosting video clips will really eat up the bandwidth and could prove quite expensive.

True - those could be left wherever the owner originally posted them, but with catalogued links ...?

Thats the sort of thing I had in mind, if people are happy to have their clips stored on their own server then a list of links would do for me.

Yea, verily, 'tis an excellent idea ...

Web links, submit new link, DGW can add new section to cater for them.

Yes copying vids to briskoda server eats bandwidth, enough cheap hosts (working on a similar project for websapce) that we could however use....weblinks for now would suffice.
