Cheapest place to buy clutch kit for MKI VRS Octy?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, just lost my job  :(  And on top of that, clutch is slipping!!!! Plus needs 2 rear shocks, and 3 locks replacing f......k.

Anyway where is the cheapest place to buy clutch kit, and also what about using pattern shocks? Anyone recommend any they've fitted?

Thanks guys.

Try carparts4less on the internet for both, failing that is there a TPS near you?

Carparts4less retail a Sachs clutch kit at £110.99, with shocks priced between £26 and £47 if that helps???

Shyte man, thats a bad day... /   week   /   month....

Cross check the Carparts4less prices with eurocarparts - same company, but CP4L is like their discount shop.

however, sometimes ECP's offers work out cheaper, depending on what your getting...

if no offers on your parts use BRISK25 promo code for a 25% discount.

Sorry to say but if your clutch is slipping then more than likely your flywheel is toast too!

Mine was see my post:

I know not all are the same, however, if yours is the original clutch and flywheel its ripe for change. I did a single mass flywheel conversion with VR6 clutch and all bolts and box oil for under £220. I will be doing a guide/ how to do a clutch change / SMF conversion.

Cheers Paddy

This is the next big job on my car.. waiting on a g60 flywheel to arrive
