smoked headlights

Featured Replies

does anyone know if you can buy smoked headlights, not the glass, the insides painted black, or is there a how to on here somewere that can show me how to do them myself? thanks in advance :)

It's a messy/tricky enough job. Worth it though. I used high heat matte bbq spray paint on mine. To split the unit you'll need a heat gun, Stanley knife and a lot of patience. For guides, google Joey mod.

As you're a newbie, I'll let you off this time :D but use Google to search for anything on here, with the word Briskoda first.

And to answer your question, yes it can be done, reasonably easily.

I typed "Briskoda Octavia black headlamps" into Google, and the first result was this: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/205997-black-headlights/

Cheers!

I wouldn`t bother myself, either use Flyeyes, or Laminex, much easier, and a lot less hastle. Used Laminex light smoke on mine, look superb, has a smoother finish the Flyeyes too.
