Win a ŠKODA Yeti Outdoor with our Yeti Ice Competition, must worth a try?

To celebrate the launch of the New ŠKODA Yeti and New ŠKODA Yeti Outdoor, we’re offering you the chance to win the Yeti Outdoor that we’ve frozen inside a giant block of ice.

The ŠKODA Yeti Outdoor Elegance 2.0 TDI CR 170PS 4x4 model has been frozen in a huge block of ice in Covent Garden, London. To enter the competition, you must guess the total combined weight of the car and the ice.

To give you a clue to get started, the car weighs 1,465kg.

Enter your details into the form on the right to be in with a chance of winning.

Good Luck.

Terms and conditions apply.

The competition closes at 9am on Monday 24th February

This has got to be over 5 tons surely?

After being frozen in ice for a few weeks I bet it will have the odd condensation issue  :giggle:

Yeah, I was thinking that too lol

Based on photos of the block (not on Skoda's competition page for some reason) I reckon the blocks are 1.2m x 0.6m x 0.3m, so over 200kg each. There look to be 24 on the front face, which puts that at over 5 tonnes on its own. I've entered anyway - if having more than one Yeti is good enough for BossFox then I'm sure I'll be able to cope with another in the unlikely event that I win :sun:

I went for a foot deep for tr walls and 6 in wide for the roof (notice the roof is thiner than the walls) but the main problem is getting the distance between the car and ice because once you work out the volume of a solid block of ice that big you have to then work out the volume of air to take that away and substitute with the yeti which is given. So I got the dime toons of the yeti and added 3foot to the length and width and 2 foot to the height (based on how high a block is compared to a 17 inch wheel and how wide the ice supports are compared to the 1 foot wide ice blocks. I'm not telling you my answer though because someone will go plus 1 kg and someone will go minus 1.And for the record I hate typing on iPod.
