I think I could have got a cheaper price (I was doing the haggling rounds in the Essex area and had two dealers offering this deal), but the decision was made on other grounds. I boought from Hayes Garage at Little Clacton. They are an easier drive for me to get servicing done (relevant as this will be 3-4 times a year), they were prompt and polite and returned calls more quickly than anyone else.

I also dealt with Prestons in Forest Gate and am impressed by thier approach and service also.

Having dealt with Ford dealerships for years, it is easy to see why Skoda and their dealers do so well in surveys.

Jewsons in Oxford were great for me. I phoned ahead and said I know the general price people are getting them for around the country. I got a very helpfull answer and ended up paying 11,700 with metallic and cruise. That waws in January just before the price rise though.
