Ah yes the cooling system thing - which to be honest (if anything really does change (cynical head - oops)) is more about caravan.

I'm a bike carrier person so yes, possibly want to revisit the options.

I've just had fitted a Tow Trust removable swan neck towbar and I have lost the Lane Assist function (I cannot activate it - dispaly says Unavailable - it did work before). I am going to go back to the fitter (not a Skoda dealer) and see what he says. Has anybody else had a similar problem?

Apparently there's some coding needs doing when fitting a towbar..and I think Lane Assist is one of the things affected.

The A5 Lane Assist Camera needs coding to tell it that a trailer module is fitted. Even Skoda dealers have missed this when fitting towbars.

Probably a silly question, but how does a rear tow bar affect the Lane Assist, which operates at the front?

If they have VCDS it is documented in the long coding helper, I can't remember which byte and bit it is, I think I posted it another thread if you fancy a search of my posts in the last month or so
