Anyone had any dealings with these mondeos?

it seems very tidy, full service history (not ford) and okish spec.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

cheers

I think they have problems with injectors so do a check on the net.

Looking at the rear bumper it looks like an ex taxi..

Had zetec estates at work

Dealer network aside, they have a tendency for EGR valve and injector issues.

Mine didn't, but did on the mk3 along with every other in the fleet.

Seats are quite good, and they do shift. Only dislikes on the car were the dash blanks, soft suspension and the barge like drive.

how much are you going to save? Is your current car reliable? If so it is a big unknown with unknown costs going for that age/price of used car.

How much will you gain by changing?

Didn't they have major problems with disintegrating and very expensive fuel pumps on that engine, or am I thinking of something else?

Sippo good spot i hadnt noticed that! they must have changed the bumper as they were not their when i went to see it today.

It test drove well today but on what you guys have said im gonna dig deeper into the service history.

as for savings my mk2 octy vrs is due a fair bit of work and on a commute from swindon to boscombe down its not cheap on fuel!! Plus mileage of that nature i would not be keen putting on a petrol (78miles round trip).

Also saving of tax and insurance!
