A setting not in my manual...

Featured Replies

The tick selection called "Comf. Indic." in my lights and visibility setup choices doesn't seem to be referenced in my Owners Manual. Anyone know what it is? Early 2011 Superb 1.8 DSG Elegance.

Something that isn't there that perhaps should be is a way of turning off the 2nd speed indicator which shows in km/h, my main list goes from Assistant to Service.

Also the oil temp in MFD always just shows three dashes even after a long journey.

I've attached a snapshot of the Lights & vis. menu

Is it the 3 blinks of the indicator when you tap the stalk for lane changing?

Can't turn off the second indicator, you don't have kmh on the speedo. It's there for European countries and law.

You can with VCDS and have a large digital MPH display.

Not everyone has VCDS :)

Looking at how and where I can get it though.

For one off adaptions why not use the VCDS owners map in the VCDS section of this forum and see if someone local is willing to do it for beer tokens, rather than buy a cable for mega bucks

I had a fiddle about, it does indeed control the three blinks.

With VCDS, you can change the number from 1-5. I find 5 suitable, when leaving a roundabout it gives you 2 blinks more and a bit more time, same when changing lanes on the motorway.
