Porsche Boxster Caliper fitting kit 5x112 - for mk2 (possibly Mk3) Octavia

Featured Replies

I bought this kit from Creations Motorsport to use in an emergency. I used one of the brackets for a fortnight before I took it off and sorted the problem I had. In the pic below, the bracket on the right hand side has been used (along with the loose bolts), but not the one on the left or the bolts in the bag.

These are £99 + post from Creations (I think about 7 quid), I am asking £85 posted within the UK. I notice that there are no spring washers on the bolts in the bag as they didn't come with any, but I will chuck a couple in.

You need these if you want to fit a set of 986 Boxster 2.5/2.7 calipers to the Mk2 Octavia (or Golf v, A3 8P, possibly the Yeti, Superb, etc but definitely not the Fabia 1 or 2). You need a set of brake lines, which can be had from here and if you bought those lines and these brackets, that could represent a saving of about £100 buying them as a kit elsewhere.

Fire away with any questions.

Do they also fit the 996 / boxter S calipers ?

The bracket might fit the S caliper but the S calipers aren't suitable because they don't allow the same thickness of disc I believe.

996 is a different set up altogether I think - needs a 330mm Merc disc with an adaptor kit (I think).

It seems 996 and boxter S are the same  and yes it was for 330 brakes but nevermind. ;)
