I am getting round to doing this job now that my picasso is back on the road and l am glad that l sourced a heavier duty diesel fabia dogbone to fit going by Nick's tail of woe.

has anyone managed to do this without jacking the car up?

 

ive got no jack/axle stands so wondered if i could drive on a kerb to give me enough clearance to get underneath?

The car comes with a jack but you always want to work off stands, 2t stands are about £7 each and will last a lifetime.

I did mine just up on a kerb, im not a big chap but it wasnt too bad.

Just depends how clostrophobic you are i guess.

 

Not a hard job though, and it can be done on a kerb.
