288mm / 232mm brake setup going cheap

Featured Replies

HI

If any of you fabia vRS owners (and others :D) are after a cheap set of replacement brakes, let me know.  I have a full setup from a V5 mk4 golf going cheap.  In silver/bare, so perhaps a good donor for refurb / repaint / colour change project.

Fronts:-

Rules say you have to declare a price lol   ;)

Fine :D - 288mm fronts £50 for the pair - calipers, discs, pads, carriers

232mm rears - £35 for the pair - calipers, discs, pads, carriers

Prefer local collection (heading Devon to Telford on Friday 7th March) but courier possible.

Are these a good alternative to the standard vrs brakes or is it worth just doing the whole hog?

Hi - These will be direct replacements, not upgrades or anything. :)   Just a suitable donor set if you want to try a different colour, or something like that. :)

Courier for both sets would be about £25 to £30.  Suspect I would have to send separately.

If you only wanted calipers alone, then it would work out cheaper. :)  Courier would only be about £10 if that.  Plus purchase price cheaper too.

Spaz, I forgot the vrs ones are that size!
