Enabling the set up through sterio means mirrors fold each time I lock the car after engine has been running (I dont have to hold close button on fob). They unfold once car is started.

Yes, every time the car is locked. I agree it would have been better if you want to choose when to fold if they gave the option to use the press/hold/lock on remote as with MkII, but I guess you can't please everyone. Regarding the unfolding, mine was a May 2013 build so I guess the unfold on unlocking is a recent coding change, might ask the dealer if they can change this on mine.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread. I have the box ticked and and it still unfolds the mirrors on unlocking the car. Is this just the way it is?
