Nearly new Rapid 1.4 TSI DSG deposit paid

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Nearly new Rapid 1.4 TSI DSG (Mar 2013) deposit paid and pick it up next Sunday in Rochdale RRG Garage. (450 mile round trip to Perth, Scotland)

Its a big leap of faith as i have not test driven this car or model. :<0 ?????????????

Test drove a 1.2TSI  manual yesterday and we liked it and hope the 1.4 and DSG lives up to expectations

(currently driving an Automatic Renault Megane  )

Hoping Bluetooth will work OK for iPhone and Samsung galaxy Ace phones

Have ordered rear parking sensors to be fitted and also spare tyre (no useless Goo tyre repair kit)

Awe the best

Enjoy the trip and especially the drive home!

Is it your first Skoda?

Have fun and enjoy the experience!

Hope the motor is everything you'd hope for.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Is that the white one?

Hi,

Yes, it is the white one,!!! Errr why?

I had a Fabia about 7 years ago and it was a good experience, only changed to a open top Daihatsu Copen (mid life crisis  )

I think once you have driven the DSG  you won't want to go back to a Manual

Enjoy

Hi Folks,

Well drove down to Rochdale last Sunday and swopped Megane auto for the 1.4 tsi DSG. Well impressed, a bit of ooomph!!! and so smooth and quiet.

Drove back up to centre parcs Penrith and left car parked for 4 days until Friday (itching) Drive back up the road to Perth was delightful.

Spare wheel is full size  ;) and rear parking sensor working good

Still trying to get all the bells and whistles on the Phone Bluetooth to work and to navigate about system (no steering wheel controls on SE)

A few scuffs and road paint chips (garage will pay for a wheel refurbish)

Washed and cleaned it all today,,, pretty much like new  :sun:
