So my service light came on on Saturday saying it was due a service in 600 miles, I looked in the book and it says you use the 0.0 button to reset it however it doesn't say how exactly.

So out of curiosity I looked in the book for the Jetta and you reset its service light by holding the 0.0 button for a couple of seconds with the ignition off, then whilst holding the button, turn the ignition on and wait a second or so before letting go of the button, then briefly press the minute button.

This works exactly the same for the Fabia but change the minute button to the menu button.

Now, no service warning.

Just thought this might be of some help as there was a topic relating to this a short while ago and I just happened to try this today.

I had tried everything on my Fabia II Vrs to reset the service interval. Nothing worked until I put the Hazard Warning lights on first! Then followed the above. Perfect, reset great!

Glad you got it but really on a vRS you get it in maxidot with the rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk and the little button underneath.

I saw this and tried, however, it only gave me Info and Back. It did not display a Reset, hence I was ripping my hair out! At least I got it done. Thanks again.

Couldn't get it to work until I put on the hazard warning lights too.
