Only gone and done it!

L&K UK spec comes with fitted mats, no foot rests, boot net, ( still looking for a reason to use it, not unwrapped yet ) and as Honeymonster said door umbrella.

A little bit closer to delivery now Stu :0)

My L&K estate 2013 has the carpet mats and "removable foot rests", took carpet mats & rests out over winter and replaced with heavy duty rubber ones, now its drying out a bit will swap back soon.

You mighty want to have a chat with dealer and see if you can get a nice big rubber mat for the boot as its huge and the rubber mat stops things moving too much. I found that the local dealer was unable to supply proper Superb logo rubber mats with a raised edge so as to stop water running off the mat on to the carpet under it. However did find on http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-4-piece-rubber-floor-mat-set-2008-2014-21288 and can recommend them.

Umbrella still in NSR door in plastic bag, glove box and center arm rest storage all illuminated

Amazing how different dealers provide " uk standard" bits and bobs. I asked where the warning triangle had gone as there is an empty space for it, to be told it only provided in European countries not UK because it not mandatory here. Anyone been supplied with one ?

Depressed now.... a little bit :(

Following a conversation a couple of weeks ago with Skoda on another subject I spoke to a very nice lady called Kate who said she would keep me informed every couple of weeks, well she kept her promise :) not good news... Still no build date

Skoda have been that busy they anticipate I will be looking the end of June, maybe the first couple of weeks of July to get my new car :(....  Good job it's not a Octavia VRS.. 26 weeks!

Wow...16 weeks.! I suppose a combination of popularity and factory fit options stretches it a bit.  Its not unheard of and not as bad as a vRS as you say but that little consolation to you at the moment!

Are you trading your own car BTW?  One upside (although marginal I suppose) is that you have extra 'free' driving on your own one until then if you have already agreed a trade in price.  A few years ago I ordered an Octavia with extras.  Due to a slip with paperwork they weren't added so after waiting over two months to get the car I then had to wait another two months while they ordered another one for me.  Couldn't charge me any extra although I was putting up a reasonable amount of mileage far more than agreed at trade in. It was worth waiting for and I saved a bit on wear and tear etc so wasn't all bad.

As they say the best things are worth waiting for and it will be worth it

The deal is done with the dealer on the Exeo ;)

Not much of a shock really, dealer did put on the paperwork late June so sounds about right :)

I only do about 100-150 miles a week in the Exeo so it wont increase much, have another I use for work.

I am going away for a couple of weeks down south from 5th July, on one hand it would be nice to go in the new car, on ghe other hand it would be good to put the mileage on the Exeo ;)

Kate is going to call me again in 2 weeks with an update I suppose it could change...

Apparently it is across the range, some longer than others.. although I did wait 16 weeks for the Exeo so on par really

Suppose being like a big kid the enjoyment of driving the Superb will be worth the wait...lol

I only drove the demo for about 30-40 mins it was fantastic

Excellent hopefully not too much longer now. Mine took six weeks from build date week, to actually being at the dealers. Still loving it, 4x4 feels so planted when whizzing along country lanes.

Just been told anything from build week 23... 1st week June should be a 2015 model. .. even better. ..

Not sure if this is the confirmed date or estimated from the conversation I have just had... not in a major rush...

According to Skoda not going to be any major change in the Superb for 2015MY... a couple of new colours and a new wheel style... Don't think the wheel applies to the L & K

She is going to call me again next week with an update

VERY happy man....... Kate from Customer services has called me today, car left the factory for Germany yesterday.... Let the countdown begin :)

Nice one Stuart, I spent ages reading the manuals paid off when I took delivery in January. I am sure you will enjoy it compared to the the Mk1 it looks very modern. My only problems so far, glove box rattle sorted, strange noise form driver side B pillar ? Door going into dealer next week for them to sort out. Lots on this about ride and 18" wheels .

Enjoy

So did I...Lol first thing I did was download the manual.....

My current Exeo has 18" wheels and sports suspension so it is a firm ride, so i sort of know what to expect..lol Can't wait now...

nice one - ordered mine a week ago and confirmed for w/c 25 June build.

Where did you download the manuals from - would like a read as well.

Can't beat that feeling when the countdown begins :) Enjoy

How did you originally get in contact with Kate Stu?  Did you dealer put you in touch or is there a Skoda UK number that you called?

I just call customer services on 0845 774 5745 ...

When I ordered the car in March I called to ask a question on another Skoda related matter, Kate answered the phone,I told her about the car and gave her the "SLI number for my order (you get this from the dealer), she confirmed the order, and confirmed the specification inc options was as ordered,  She said she would update me every 2 weeks with progress, and true to her word, every 2 weeks without fail she has called, even if nothing had changed.. Kate has provided me with first class service... AND she is very nice to talk to :)

Next update in 2 weeks when it should be in the UK :)
