Still looks great George and sitting next to how it was goes to show how much work you have put into it. Very well done indeed!

Thank you mate. Lots of work. Feel I've gone backwards a lot though :( but I do what I can.

Ordered some stickers, one of which was the briskoda website with logo inside window sticker but it doesn't show past any of the privacy glass :(

But I had one other in the post too which I really love

Not a lot has happened to the car, apart from going backwards because of being unemployed for a little while, so some bits had to sell.

But I start a new job tomorrow, which should help this thing see some of the modifications that I want to do to get it finished and just be able to enjoy driving and looking at it.

As the job I'm starting is in London, and I'm down in sandgate, it's a 145 mile round trip each day, so today I fitted cruise control and am popping up to see gizmo in hawkinge to get it turned on.

Hopefully I've done it all correctly. :)

The other day I also wrapped all the air vents in a carbon fibre effect. I quite like it :)

I also got the seats back that I originally made from an Alfa Romeo.

140 mile round trip each day. Adding a lot of miles to my Fabby :(

Not sure if the trip will be cheaper in a 1.4 16v or my tdi

Clocks said I averaged 57mpg

TDI I'm guessing. Sell the 16v and buy an SDI fairly bullet proof and you should get better mpg and less wear and tear on your main ride.

I don't own a 16v, but have got a little van I don't need that's not as economical, thinking I should sell it for a commuting car.

SDI sounds a good idea. Economy is most important.

Also must be a Skoda. Haha :D

Contrats on the new job mate! 99% of my work is in London. Let me know where you work and we could meet for lunch one day

Thanks mate, I work in Beaufort house.

That'd be awesome, good idea. :)

It's so long, today I've been working 16 hours! Started at 5am, home by 9pm!

Really looking forward to actually having some money though. Finally I can sort the Fabia and not have to keep selling stuff and going backwards.

Pay everyone i owe money too, all is well.

So far ...

Hopefully be getting an estate myself soon, been looking at a few :D

Got my inspiration from looking through your thread a number of times looks epic mate

We're did you get the rear bumper from? Been searching for mods already and can't find one anywhere

Thanks mate, glad it's liked. Not its best at the moment but I'm hoping it will be tip top very soon.

You won't find a bumper like it because it's custom made. An estate bumper moulded together with a Vrs hatch bumper. :)

A body shop will do this for about £500

No problem mate

Oh right haha makes sense why I couldn't find one anywhere. My Dad's mate owns his own body shop so might see what he'd charge thanks for the info mate

I spotted you going through New Romney today and your car looks very nice. (I did wave) :)
