Projector to Reflector Headlights

Featured Replies

We see alot about how bad the headlights on the roomsters are, i've tried different things regarding bulbs. Has anyone changed the projector headlight units to reflector ones ?  Do you think it would help ? What do you think the problems would be ?   :wall:

We dont get the reflector headlights because they are only for LHD cars, all the Fabia and Roomster models sold in the UK are projector lights.

What Mannyo put, i thought well that was easy, if you carn't get them, then you carn't do it.   So what if you get some LHD units and put them in upside down  .   So question still stands ?   B)

As mentioned, reflectors are available. Seen them on the lower spec models. I presume Fabia II headlights will fit?

I'm gonna say it... It's coming...

Hi Phil, glad we could help you get that off your chest.  .  Have had HID'S on, but found they didn't give enough distance light for me, especially in total black at night.

Thanks :giggle:

Have you tried adjusting the light too? Might be that they're set too low.

Phil, do u mean adjusting HID's after they have been fitted ? Up to now I've found the Philips X-treme vision have been best for light distance. Clive.

Yes. Fit the HIDs then adjust the height of the lights using the adjusters on the back of the headlights. They will have a very sharp cut off so may seem like they're not going as far.
